Holes is a book my class read its about a boy called, Stanley Yelnat's. We are also given docs that have activity's on it that we can do. There are about 8 activity's on each doc. My favourite activity is where you have to draw either Stanley Yelnats the main character and Zero, under a boat or drawing a water truck crashed into a hole so I did both.

Trip To Wellington

On Tuesday I went on a school trip to Te Papa and Capital E. We went to Te Papa first and checked out the nature area. Then went to the earth quake house and that was really fun. After that we quickly looked at the toi art. then we had some food and went to the top floor and wandered, around it had a greenstone boulder covered in water, but this one did not move. We did not get to see much stuff but it was still fun. 

After that we left and went to a place called capital E. And basically we just made songs with our partner and showed them on a projector. My partner was Ella-Jaye. And after that we all went home. Our song was pretty bad so maybe I could try make a better one next week.

Today we made a pic with a collage and, coded it into a game.

We read the book "Holes", and it is about a boy named Stanley and he gets sent to Camp green lake, witch is a  name because there is no lake! He meets lots of new friends and learns valuable life lessons along the way! Read the book, or watch the film/movie to find out what happens in the end! 

My favourite character is Stanley because he was very brave to try get Zero and hes very strong because he carried Zero up big thumb.

My favourite holes activity is where you have to draw a picture of Zero and Stanley hiding under the boat. Or draw the water truck crashed into a hole I did both.
